Lost Cat

I hope this Gato finds its home!
So, it's been a little while and now here I am, diving into my second week of the new semester. I think Core Humanities is going to kill me; I hate trying to decipher all that ancient text.
My American Popular Music class, however, is going to be the beez kneez.

I'm all layered up in:
Silver cardigan//H&M
Thermal//Thrifted Free People
Sequin Tube Top//a past "dress up" article from when I was a kid
White long sleeve//On sale from The Gap
Vintage denim-ish skirt//Given to me by my aunt

I'm a little late on uploading the rest of the photos of the vintage clothes my aunt sent me to model for her etsy store but here they are!
It's been quite the eventful week (slash) winter break, and now I have just a few more days left at home till I head back to school.
I'm having mixed feelings about leaving this paradise full of delicious home cooked meals, cozy animals,
sundress weather, and MY OWN ROOM but i'm trying to be optimistic and excited for the semester ahead. Expect to see more frequent posting of outfit these next few months, that is if I have the motivation on those bitter cold mornings at school.

Something Borrowed

Here are a few shots of some clothing my aunt sent me to model for her store.
In the first two photos i'm wearing vintage crochet pants sent from my aunt, a vintage white hat also sent from my aunt, a red tube top bought at Urban Outfitters a while ago, a black cardigan borrowed from my mom, and vintage shoes bought at a thrift store.
In the next photo, i'm wearing the same UO tube top with a vintage red cardigan sent from my aunt.
The last outfit change is a vintage pink cardigan also sent from my aunt.

Recap

Beggar
He's kind of a badass.
Breakfast with Grandma.
Black sweater: my grandma's closet
Greenish/teal shirt: Hand-me-down from my sista
Handmade necklace from the Gypsy Den.
Cold Chillin'
 Sunset.
Pippa in heaven
 Jasmine Green Tea
free people faux fur jacket, zara top, vintage guess shorts from a garage sale,
& Marc by Marc Jacobs shoes from Nordstrom Rack

This photo montage pretty much sums up my week: lots of fluffy animals, indulging in delicious food at home (i.e.:Toblerone chocolate), beautiful weather, acoustic guitar listening, and, of course, driving my Bug!
Life is so easy when you've got no responsibilities. This wont last as long as I'd wish, however. I'm back to school in a couple weeks. *sigh*

Disco Skates

Last night I went to a roller disco night at the skating rink called Crystal Palace with a bunch of friends and decided to spray paint my roller skates gold for the occasion.
The roller skates came from one of Zac's friends who found them somewhere and figured I'd like them and the spray paint was left over from a ceramics project...so these sweet set of wheels didn't cost me a dollar.
The ridiculousness of the outfit I wore was due to the disco theme of the night.
I wore a vintage crochet top given to my by my aunt, sequin shorts on sale from H&M, and tights from Buffalo Exchange.
I was still in the roller skating groove today so Zac, Jeepers, and I went to the skate park and rolled around a bit.
AND I could wear shorts today without being freezing. Yes!

Happy New Year!

Jeepers hated the horns.
I hope you all aren't feeling too horrible this morning because it's a beautiful day here!
And besides, why stay in bed when we've only got about a year to have fun until the end of the world, right? haha
Cheers to the New Year!

To ring in the new year I wore a long skirt from a garage sale that I turned into a strapless dress, a belt handmade at The Gypsy Den, a vintage jackets also from The Gypsy den, and tan colored snakeskin heels (not pictured) borrowed from my mom.
Very 70s disco.
