Blue Dresses & Flowers

A Monet made of flowers
Yesterday I went to the Bellagio with my mom, sister, and aunt to see the Bellagio gardens, the art gallery which is currently displaying Monet and other impressionists, and to eat at the super tasty restaurant called Olives (tooo good). After the Bellagio, we also went to check out the Gypsy Den... I picked up a really cute top there. All in which I wore my knot dress from Nasty Gal, a vintage purse from a garage sale, a spike necklace from The Gypsy Den, and vintage sandals.
The second photo at the top is what i'm wearing today: a great vintage dress I just picked up at a thrift store ($5), a vintage hat also from a thrift store ($5), and flats on sale from The Gap. Later on I bought an  amazing bracelet from a garage sale for $1 (5th photo from the bottom).
The last photo is on the way to the airport... I miss Jeepers already!

Meeting the President in My Lavender Suit

^Me Shaking his hand^ (photo from the Las Vegas Review Journal)
^Snapping photos^ (Photo from the Las Vegas Review Journal)

Isn't Air Force One so cute? I love the colors... my friend and I were wondering if we should ask the president if they make a nail polish in that shade but instead the words I exchanged with a shaky, starstruck voice were "It's so nice to meet you Mr. President"--not bad. I'm happy I was capable of making any sort of words come out of my mouth at that moment.

When I found out I was going to see the president I immediately thought of what I was going to wear.
I mean, it's the President of the United States for god sakes... I had to make a good, fashionable impression on him.
This Maggy London lavender suit I bought at a thrift store was perfect for this occasion and had just the the right touch of Jackie-O in it. I have now deemed it my "President Obama suit"
I grabbed these vintage shoes from my sister's closet.... "O" for Obama (enough said).
Oh yes, I also wore a touch of silver polish to match the shoes!

Ch-Ch-Ch-Ch-Ch Cherry Bomb

Hello March!
Sadly, this is my first post in March and it happens to be coming to an end.
Again, you all might be tired of this excuse but... I have been a busy lady.
I'm on my spring break right now and was hoping for some warmer weather but it hasn't been so pleasant so I had to brave the little chill with my shorts today.
The rest of the week looks to be warming up so I will, fortunately, be able to wear my warm-weather outfits I packed for this week.

Thrifted Luella for Target cherries button up//thrifted vintage (well early 90s) shorts// Free vintage shoes that I discovered in a relative's dusty attic in Wisconsin (also worn in this lovely post)//
