90s Kid

 The 90s child in me was so stoked to find tattoo chokers on The Cobra Snake & so I couldn't resist stocking up on them in every color! I love this preppy little vintage skirt I bought for a few bucks at Ragstock in Madison a 5 years ago; it can be worn in with so many different styles of outfits. The jean shirt was thrifted I believe and the white shirt is one that i'm not quite sure that I like. I bought it about six years ago and have kept it in the depths of my shirt drawer for the past few years but today I  thought it went well with the look of this outfit. Who knows maybe it'll end up at Goodwill in a weekI haven't quite decided its fate....
As you may have noticed, I got my hair freshly cut today. I had her lighten up the weight of my hair around my face with some layers and it feels soo much better. When I made my appointment, I was so set on getting my hair cut & colored like Brigitte Bardot but then chickened out. It would have been to much $$$ and maintenance to keep up with. It would have also taken for-ev-er to get my hair back to its au natural color. Anyways, I like my natural color & I can thank the good ole sun for saving me money with these natural highlights.

Casual

//Photos by Gunnar Stanton//
So, after scoping out this lens on amazon for a while, I finally decided to buy it last Sunday; I was so anxious to test it out so I did the two day shipping & even that had me giddy until it arrived on my doorstep last night. Today I was having fun with my new lens & using it to get some of my new etsy products on my store. I can't wait to take this baby up to Reno next week for some good places to shoot.
Anyways, with much of my activity being at home today, it was one of those blue jean/white tee kinda days.
The shirt is from Nordstrom Rack & is a really great fit; and, for around 7 bucks each, I couldn't resist buying one in a few different colors. The jeans are also from Nordstrom Rack's sale rack; I bought them for $25. I bought the chunky 90s Tommy Hilfiger wedges from Savers for $9.50; they remind me of something Jeffrey Campbell would put out. I just purchased this new cross body purse (my favorite kind) from a local store here in my hometown for $25. And, of couse, last but not least, one of my favorite necklaces which I bought at the Gypsy Den about a year ago.

P.S.
I havent uploaded all of the new products on my esty site yet but if you'd like to see what's on there go here: Sappo's Treasures

Spice Girl

I could not pass up these Jeffrey Campbell shoes when I came across them on Nasty Gal's site... SO much Spice Girl nostalgia. I have wanted shoes like these since I was like 6-- dream fulfilled (finally).
I love that the 90s are making a comeback in fashion... so on yet another occasion in which I was procrastinating my homework, I came across this crop top on Nasty Gal *click* added to shopping cart.
The Juicy Couture Shades are from Off Saks Fifth Avenue.
The velvet skirt I just recently picked up at Goodwill for somewhere around $5 I believe.
Oh yeah and the Jeffrey Campbells are paired with socks on sale from Urban Outfitters I bought a couple of years ago.

 It's a beautiful day so i'm doing homework on a futon in Zac's backyard that we picked up for $20 on cragslist... cheers!

This is what his new and improved backyard looks like.
Not too shabby, right?
